Filming took place in Australia from July to September 2007. Daybreakers is scheduled to be released in the United Kingdom on January 6, 2010 and in North America on January 8, 2010.
In 2019, a plague transforms a majority of the world’s population into vampires. With only a handful of humans left to provide blood, starvation is a very real risk for their new species. In response, the vampires seek to farm the remaining humans for their blood and to find a way to continue their existence.[2] A secret team of vampires uncovers a way that would rescue the human race.[3] At the same time, a group of surviving humans wishes to repopulate the species and survive.
New Moon (marketed as The Twilight Saga: New Moon) is a 2009 American romantic fantasy film. It is based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer and is the sequel to 2008′s Twilight, which is based on Meyer’s previous novel. Summit Entertainment greenlit the sequel in late November 2008, following the early success of Twilight. Directed by Chris Weitz, the film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. Melissa Rosenberg, who handed in a draft of the movie script during the opening weekend of Twilight, returns as the screenwriter for the second installment as well.
The motion picture was released on November 20, 2009 in most countries, and set domestic box office records as the biggest midnight screening with $26.3 million. This led to the biggest single day domestic gross with $72.7 million. New Moon also opened with the third biggest domestic opening weekend ($142,839,137)

Howard said, “There was no reason, apparently the contracts that we write and sign aren’t worth the paper that they’re written on, now and then. Deals aren’t kept, and good faith discussions aren’t always held up.” Entertainment Weekly acknowledged Favreau did notenjoy working with Howard, often reshooting and deleting his scenes; Howard’s publicist stated he had aexcellent experience playing the part, while Marvel chose not to comment. As Favreau and Theroux decided to minimize the role, Marvel came to Howard to talk about lowering his wages – Howard was the first artist hired in Iron Man and earned the biggest salary of the cast. The publicationcommented they were uncertain whether Howard’s council left the project first or if Marvel chose to discontinue negotiating. Theroux denied the part of the report stating “the role of War Machine was scaled back and then pumped up”. Cheadle just had a few hours to take the part and were not aware which storyline Rhodes would undertake.He commented he is a comic book fan, but felt there are not enough black superheroes.

Avatar is without a doubt the biggest movie of the year. Award winning James Cameron has been working on this movie since the release of his last huge blockbuster Titanic. A lot of movies these days get a lot of hype and do not live up to it’ but I guarantee Avatar is going to deliver in a big way.

5 Reasons Why Girls Love Twilight
By · CommentsBefore the movie there was the book. And the book is the root of all evil…erhm…awesomeness that was then transformed into a movie. Many people skip over the book and watch the movie, which isn’t getting an Oscar nom any time soon, but it was a decent movie that reached its audience and made lots and lots of money. Twilight’s true power lies in the books themselves. The saga transports girls and taps into all of their primal desires: to be loved and loved in return.
Twilight allows the book to be commercialized. Actors give characters a face that allows studios to create merchandise like Twilight party favors, and posters. Movies also reach a greater audience than books do. For some reason, many people don’t like to read. They associate reading with schoolwork and boredom. The problem is that they’re reading the wrong books. Twilight originated as a book so there was no way other than fan art to create merchandise to sell and make a greater profit. Being the capitalist society that we live in, there was no other place for Twilight to go but the movies.
The first three books especially transport the reader to a different world. With a simple language, anyone with a middle school reading level can enjoy the books. There is consistent action (minus Bella’s whiny period in New Moon) and danger that makes your heart race and get you addicted.
Meyer’s vampire folklore differs from industry standards. Her vampires go out into the sun and essentially have every day lives. One of the reasons to read the book is to explore this new world within our world. These vampires share similar qualities with other vampires and it’s interesting to see where Meyer takes the other folklore. Granted she may have gone too far with Renesmee, but she sold it and supported her ideas and people loved it.
Another reason why girls love the Twilight series is the boys, duh. Edward has the tortured soul that taps into every girl’s motherly instinct. We want to take him up into our arms, cuddle with him, and make everything all right.
Same goes for Jacob. Besides the fact that he’s drop dead gorgeous (in our minds and as portrayed by Taylor), he’s the best friend that every girl wants in a guy. Someone to talk to and spend nights with. He’s warm (what girl isn’t cold, seriously), and he goes to the ends of the earth for Bella. Granted its because he prematurely imprinted on Renesemee, but that’s another story.
Besides all those reasons, the real reason is how girls can easily identify with Bella. They share a connection. Every woman has been torn between to guys, loved someone, and lost them. They’ve had to balance friends with a relationship. All Twilight does is show one girls way to handle being a teenager.
When people put down Twilight to fans, the best way for you, the fan, to debate them is to remind them of how the book is easy to read, involves love, danger and heartache. Don’t forget how identifiable Bella is. Don’t forget to tell them to shut up and read the book before they talk.

The Beauty Within ~ Belief in Yourself!
By · CommentsThe most common personally challenging issue in today’s fast paced society is lack of confidence. Low self-esteem shows itself in everything we do and try to accomplish in our personal and professional lives. Low self-esteem has a knack of sabotaging the best laid plans for personal development. Confidence is something that can be understood, learned, developed, improved and celebrated. Knowing yourself and accepting yourself and traits are keys to growth and happiness.
We are all familiar with the story of Wizard of Oz and Dorothy who wanted to go home, Scarecrow who felt he lacked a brain, Tin Man who didn’t think he had a heart and Cowardly Lion who wished he had courage.
The wizard exercised a belief system at the end of the story. For each one he had a sense of belief. They each had those things they sought after in them the whole time. Simply, giving the scarecrow a diploma convinced him he was smart, encouraging the Tin Man to realize he had a heart because it was breaking, giving the Cowardly Lion a medal of bravery instantly he felt and became courageous.
Dorothy saw once her friends believed they could receive what they wanted she was in firm belief she could as well. Each one of them already had a belief inside of them to fulfill what they wanted from the beginning. The only thing missing was the confidence in knowing they have this belief inside of them.
Self-confidence is having faith and belief in yourself and your ability to handle whatever situations are presented to you. You have been blessed with the greatest gift, that gift is freedom from doubt in yourself.
Having confidence in yourself means you have belief in your ability to accomplish all that you want to succeed at. Believing in yourself will open the doors to many wonderful things in your life. Show confidence in you and others will see confidence. This type of faith inspires others around you.
Adults and children struggle with low self-esteem and limited belief that fluctuates on a daily basis.
Here are some tips in staying in the moment of belief:
1. Have faith in yourself each day. Remember faith is in you at all times.
2. Always speak up clearly-show your confidence, feel and own your confidence
3. Praise and Encourage yourself. Everyday pick 4 things you love about you and affirm them several times in a day.
4. Have a relationship with you- Forget options of others. Everyone has an option and different abilities. FOCUS on your abilities and opinons. What you feel and think are the only 2 things that are important. Focus on your strengths. Keep track of all your accomplishments large and small.
5. Think positive- Take charge of your mind! Positive thoughts are always full of faith and hop. Our thoughts create our experiences.
6. Help others- By thinking of what others need will keep you from dwelling on what you feel is wrong with you and appreciate your abilities and self worth.
7. Choose your friends wisely- Spend time with people in your life who encourage and appreciate you for you. Time is precious spend it UPLIFTING J
8. Take up a hobby or class- Sign up for something you’ve always wanted to experience. Examples are: dance, learn a musical instrument, build a garden, go rock climbing or learn to paint. Being able to learn a new skill will boost your self-confidence.
For children, building self-confidence in the little things you do earns big rewards in how they feel.
1. Enroll them in an activity. They can start as early as they show an interest.
2. Taking care of pets- they learn to be responsible and take pride in knowing they can do this.
3. Making their bed- gives them a knowing of accomplishment.
4. Art- they can use their creativity to build or draw something.
5. Always affirm what you love about them. Always encourage new things, praise and support them as they discover their skills and opinions.
6. Place positive notes- with smiley faces or encouraging words to create smiles and a great mood.
Self-esteem is always present in our lives. I encourage you work on a daily basis no matter what circumstances arise. Choose you, choose to believe in you. Have faith in yourself and your abilities each day.
